Ingrid Bergman Rose

“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” Sound familiar? And it’s true, too: but a delicate name like ‘rose’ generally helps the flower’s reputation.
So that reputation can only be bolstered by tacking Ingrid Bergman’s name on as well. And just that thing was done a while ago when a rose was named the ‘Ingrid Bergman Hybrid Tea Rose’. A fragrant rose, the Ingrid Bergman Hybrid Tea Rose is selectively cultivated for its beautiful color (a dark red), and thus is popular (like most Hybrid Tea Roses) among professionals and mere admirers alike.
The Ingrid Bergman Hybrid Tea Rose was first cultivated in 1986 and named in honor of the actress, and continues to enjoy great success today.
